Jeanne, my Almira was married to a Benjamin Doan. They may of had a daughter named Almira but I don't know. They were from Humberston Canada but all ended up in the States later. Some in Ohio and some in Michigan. Almira was born in 1823. She had a lot of children but I don't know all of the names. There is a Almira Doan who had a twin and they were Indian. They were also from Ohio. Look on the Gen Forum for this family, the person who put it on the message board has picktures. The only thing is that she did not marry a Richards.
