Hi Cheryl, I have just read your message to Tory regarding the Doan family in the Bucks County area. I have started the work on my husbands side of the family, which has lead me to the Bucks county area. The great grandma's name was Josephine Gilbert Doan born 4/27/1875, married a John M Major on 2/12/1894, the Majors resided in the Bucks county for about 4 years, my understandig that Johns father Theodore Major was also born in the Bucks County area, have you heard of the name Major? Jospehines parents' names were William Doan, and Hannah (Gilbert) Doan ( I don't have anymore information on them. If you have or heard of any of these names I would really love to hear from you.
Thanks a bunch
Beth
