I have a Harriett Elizabeth (Brown) Doane who lived for a time in Indianola, Red Willow, Nebraska which is to the far south of the state, almost on the border.

She married John Amos Doane on 18 Oct 1882 in Beloit, Rock, Wisconsin, and they had at least one child, my great grandfather Roy Amos Doane who was born in Indianola 11 Mar 1887.

I have no further information. Do you think that she may have remarried? I have no birth or death dates for her husband John.
