Daniel Doane, b. c. 1636, Plymouth, MA, d. Dec. 20, 1712, Eastham, MA., son of John Doane, b. c. 1590, d. Feb. 21, 1685, and Abigail ___. Daniel m. twice. Nothing is known of his first wife. He m. (2) after July 28, 1682, Hepzibah Crisp, widow of George Crisp and dau. of Daniel & Mary Cole. 10 children by first wife, one by second.

Daniel Doane (Daniel 2, John 1)b. (no record of birth), d. Sept. 1, 1743, Newtown, Bucks Co., PA. He m. (1) Mehitable Twining, m. (2) Mary Yates.

Lydia Doane, (Daniel 3, Daniel 2, John 1), b. Oct. 30, 1690/1, m. Aug. 5, 1715 in Friends Meeting at Middletown, Thomas Stradling, husbandman; about 1725 took certificate from Middletown to Buckingham. 9 children. No death date given.
