My line of descent from John 1 is: John 1, Daniel 2, Israel 3,
Edmund 4, Irael 5, Daniel 6, Joseph Dimock 7, Joshua 8, Bowman 9,
Vera 10 and me (Lyndall) 11. The most recent entry in the Doane
Book Vol 1 is Joseph Dimock who appears as #407. Edmund 4
removed from MA in 1761/62 to Nova Scotia. I call them the
"Barrington" Doanes and I am interested in tracing them. Some
made their way back into the U.S. and remained there. I would
appreciate hearing from any Doan(e)s who may have their roots in
Nova Scotia. Thanks.
