The will of Ebenezer SMITH was signed 9 Dec. 1824 and recorded in Maury Co. on 25 March 1826. It lists his wife Jane SMITH, sons William SMITH, Robert SMITH, Zilman SMITH, Ely SMITH, Levy SMITH, John C. SMITH, and
daughters Elizabeth and Jane Porter SMITH. Also, friend John GILCHRIST and Jean (Jane) SMITH, administrators. Witnesses Robert DOAK, John GILCHRIST, and George EGNEW.
Most likely, Ebenezer SMITH's wife was Jane PORTER. Ebenezer SMITH m. Jane PORTER 6 Oct. 1805 in Davidson Co., TN.
Also, Levy (Levi) SMITH probably married Frances M. DOAK, daugher of Robert DOAK.
I would like to know anything about Ebenezer SMITH and Jane PORTER. Parents, where they came from, etc.
