My grandfather William Doak had a brother Samuel Doak. Their father was Samuel Doak which I know very little about. As the story goes, my greatgrandfather Samuel was part of a Doak family that moved from Ireland and originally settled in Tennessee. As a young man, my great grandfather left Tennessee and married a woman from Mexico. They had children and the family has grown in the Arizona & New Mexico area ever since. The tradition of Samuel Doak continues as a recent new born cousin was named Samuel Doak.
