One of the names in my files on descendants of John Doak of North Carolina is that of a Schinghchingh Moore Doak, born 8 Feb 1820 in TN. He appears from various records to have been the son of Elizabeth Moore and Rev. Robert Doak. Rev. Robert Doak was the son of Robert Doak and Hannah Armstrong and a grandson of John and Mary Doak of Guilford Co. NC. Schinghchingh Moore Doak was one of 9 known siblings.
