I also am trying to make a connection to a
Robert Doak of Tazewell Co., VA. About a year ago a nice person sent me some information out of a book she had on the history of Tazewell Co,VA. This book states that Robert Doak married Rachel Thompson 11/2/1801. I believe there may be a connection to ggggrandmother, Senia Doak who married Gilbert R. Rogers in Tazewell Co., VA. They had a son named Robert Doak Rogers (my gggrandfather) who married Nancy Six 30.Nov.1854 in Tazewell Co., VA. They moved to Missouri when my ggrandfather, William Doak Rogers was two years old. William was born in 1855 in Tazewell Co., VA. Please let me know if you find a connection. I am eager to share any information.
