He married a Doak, who was the daughter of a Samuel Doak. They had a daughter named Dookie Balch, who married a John Rhea. Given the dates, I'd say Samuel Doak would have to have been born in the early-mid 1700's at least. How does that fit in with the Rev. Samuel Doak?
