I've been reading the later posts, and have seen nothing on my descendent of Samuel Doak and Jane Mitchell. Can anyone tell me the birth and death dates of Jane Doak, their daughter, Jane? Is there proof she married William Brown (Jr.?) Her daughter Jane and husband John Morris are my direct ancestors, from Henry Morris, son of William Morris "The Pioneer", here in the Kanawha Valley of WV. Also a list of their children (I am from son Leonard). I have 12 children for them, but on some sites, a few of the names are different.

To Robert Edward Oakley - I read your post, and am interested in the book "The Mitchell - Doak Group". Do you know where I can see about a copy? e-mail me if you can help?
