I would like to tie in my Doak line further back than what I have. I am descended from William Doak the owner of Doaks Stand a trading post with the Choctaw and Chickasaw Indians in Madison County, Mississippi. He was born in Tenn. ca. 1780. His brother Josiah went with the Choctaws to Indian Territory and opened up another trading post known as Doaksville near present day Fort Towson, Oklahoma. My William married a full blood or half blood Choctaw of which they had one daughter Sallie who married a whiteman of Irish descent, Thomas Fanning. From Mississippi they moved to Texas. I have no data on William and Josiahs parents, but do have data on family from there forward. Would be happy to share.
