Chris

Greetings from not too far away.......Troon, Ayrshire!

I am new to genealogy and only know that my immediate family are from Glasgow. I thought we were one of few Doak families to come down to Ayrshire but now it turns out Doak's have been in Ayrshire a lot longer than I naively realised.

Do you have any information you can pass on?

My grandfather is John Doak, (Glasgow) born approx 1905-1910, my grandmother is Peggy born around the same time, they lived various places in Glasgow but eventually settled in Pollok.

regards
Bryan Doak

ps. do you know if it is true that there is a village callled Doagh in N.Ireland?
