I am at a standstill, I only have bits and pieces of this family's info and I am at a loss as to how to go about fitting it all together. my line starts like this:

1. Immigrant David Doak(e): b abt 1710, d abt 1787 in Wythe Co. VA. Had a wife named Mary.

2. John Doak: (Son of David Doak) b abt 1765-1770, d abt 1846-1850 Buried in Black Lick Cemetery (Wythe Co. VA) His first wife was William's mother, (unknown name) and his second wife, Rebecca, he married in 1805.

3. William Doak: (Son of John Doak) b abt 1793-1799, d abt 1870-1877 probably in Wythe Township - Hancock Co. Illinois. He married on 16 Feb 1826 in Wythe Co. VA to Elizabeth Wilson: b abt 1804, d abt 1850-1860 Perhaps in Nauvoo, Illinois - Hancock Co.

4. Margaret Ann Doak: (dau. of William Doak and my Great Great Grandmother) b abt Aug 1830 in Wythe Co. VA, d 03 Jun 1903 Mulhall, Oklahoma - Logan Co. She married on 22 Nov 1850 to my Great Great Grandfather, William M. Terrel: b abt 1832 Champaign Co. Ohio, d 11 Aug 1904 St. Clair Co. Mo (They lived in Nauvoo, Illinois for a while.)

I need a little more info on the rest of Immigrant David Doak's children and a little more about these people whom I have listed above, I am a little confused as to where to begin. Please help!
