This is so exciting! I'm so glad to finally hear from someone with a connection. Senia Doak Rogers (which I am sure is the correct spelling) was my gr-gr-gr-grandmother. She married Gilbert Rogers in Tazewell, Co., VA, on Jan 5, 1829. Their son, Rogert Doak Rogers married Nancy Six in Tazewell, Co., VA on Nov. 30, 1854. They had at least 5 children, Senia, Lydia, Cora, Edgar and William, who was born in Tazewell, Co., VA on Nov. 24, 1855. The family moved by Wagon Train to Harrison Co., MO with members of the Claytor family abt. 1857. William Doak Rogers married Alice Augusta Arthur Oct 9, 1882. They had 8 children, Edgar, Gilbert, Robert, Elmer, Neva, Gilla, Ethel and Emma Grace, my grandmother.
