I just happened into this genealogy business. while surfing. I have a copy of my family's history that I am trying to figure out. It was researched by an aunt of mine who is now in a rest home. I am not sure of her references or anything but I know she spent years working on it. I have the following information on your inlaws. I will copy exactly what she has recorded. "Robert Doak died 1775. He was a graduate of William and Marys College and was a surveyor. He had two sons and a daughter, all married Thompsons. He died just a few years after he finished college. Mrs. Florris Willeford of Oak Lawn, Ill. husband was a decendant of Robert Doak. Her line runs: Robert Doak - Robert Doak Jr. - Sena Doak Rodgers - Lydia Matilda Rodgers Spratt - Sena Catherine Spratt Willford - Samuel Willford married Florris Willeforn Morris."

Robert Doak's father is David Doak who married Mary Breckenridge. The best I can figure out David's father was John Doak who married Elizabeth -------. He was a brother, James Doak. They are belived to be sons of Samuel Doak Lived and died in Antrim Ireland around 1700. I am a direct decandent of David Doak's other son Alexander.

I hope this helps. If anyone else has infor regarding my line please help me out. I am a beginner at this business!
