Looking for connections to the family of Reuben and Rhoda Alice SLIKER (SCHLEICHER) DOAK. Reuben, born 1835 in Weatherly, Carbon Co. PA, may have been the son of Samuel and Sarah and brother to John, Harrison, Henry, and Sarah. Married in 1856 to Rhoda SLIKER, prob. in Carbon Co. Family moved to Luzerne Co. PA in 1870. Children were Adella, William, Harry, Charles (all died as children), and Harvey (1861), Etta Lula (1863-1936), Irving (1872-1953), Myra Etta (1874-1926), and Samantha Inez (1876-1923). Rhoda died 1886, Reuben in 1892 and both buried in Hanover Green Cem., Hanover, Luzerne Co. PA.
