Hi :)
i was just searching through information and trying to find out more on my family history when i came to this forum.. My mother is a Doak, she has many brothers and sisters and are all in Perth Western Australia.. Her father i am sure was Frederick Doak, he came to Australia from Ireland from what i recall.. My Grandfather played in a band as a drummer and was killed in a truck accident when my mother was small.. i would love to find out myself about the Doaks of Australia etc and see if i cant trace my family back.. If you have any information, or any sounds familiar to you please feel free to email me.. BTW Frederick Doak married my nan Aida Irene *erm cant recall her maiden name* if any of that helps.. :) keep searching you never know what you may find, best of luck.. jodie :)
