["Results are in Relative Genetics format, which differs from FTDNA only at Y-GATA-H4. Simply subtract 1 on that marker to get FTDNA's nomenclature. Note that SMGF's nomenclature differs on several other markers. If you are using their marker frequencies, you will have to use their conversion table."] I have a question about the above entry. Last year I used RG for my Y-DNA analysis. Today, I added my results to FTDNA'a Ysearch site. When I got to adding my result for Y-GATA-H4 I got confused. Their conversion instructions for adding RG results say "GATA-H4 is reported by Relative Genetics as TAGA-H4. Please subtract 1 (one) from your value" This is consistant with what you said above. However, my results from RG refers to this marker as Y-GATA-H4 not TAGA-H4. Therefore, my question is, do I still subtract 1 from my value of 12 and make it an 11??
