Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Our new FTDNA Group / Project "E1b / E3b (E-M35) in Scotland" is up and running. You can view and join at http://www.familytreedna.com/public/E1b-E3b-E-M35-In-Scotland/

"This group is open to all in haplogroup(s) E1b (aka E3b, E-M35, E-V-13) with ancestors in Scotland. Ours is a rare haplotype in Scotland and theories abound concerning how our E1b ancestors 1st came to be there. The group was created to help us all get a better idea of population concentrations and/or family groups. (Please do not join if you are not part of these haplotypes AND your ancestor is not from - or suspected to be from - Scotland)."

So, if you have an account at FTDNA.com, come on over and join our group and help us all put the pieces of this puzzle together!

We look forward to seeing you.

Tom Caulley
Project admin.
