I see, thank you for the explanation. So I’m back to trying to figuring out which of my 3 Rudd males is the authentic Burlingham Rudd DNA. I appreciate your patience and time. I would imagine you are kept busy helping those like me. Ancestry.com could learn some lessons about customer support from you. I especially thank you for dispelling my skepticism about their testing. :-)
Regardless of how male #4 turns out, we’ll take your advice and do further testing on Harry’s DNA for haplogroup.
