We don't yet know. My Britton cousin tested positive for L1275, and because of his distance from the modal, Dr. Ken Nordtvedt thinks that most, if not all of AS7E is likely to be L1275+. The other men who have tested it belong to different subgroups on the DF29* branch and all of them were negative.
Allred tested negative for L1274. Now a second member of the Childers family is testing it. If he is L1274+, then I hope that families with other surnames who are close to Childers will agree to test. If they do and are positive, then L1274 will split AS7E. If, however, our second Childers tests negative, then L1274 would be a private SNP confined to a branch of the Childers family.
