My mtdna haplotype is
16126C 16294T 16296T 16304C 16519C
73G 309.1C 315.1C
Tho we have a common direct female ancestor she was thousands of years in the past as we differ by so many mutation. Notice that I do not have a HVR2 263G and just that lack of a mutation separates me from almost all other people in Hg T2 as this is quite rare. That and a rare mutation in the coding region puts me in Hg T2b20. This is the link to the Family Tree mtdna T2 Project.

I wish you could remember what the ancient Welsh marker is. Since your mother's direct maternal line came from Germany then it would seem that this marker came from your father's line so mayb it was an autosomal result.
