Here is the order that I suggest: 1) If you have been researching one or two Wilson lines for several years hoping to find a connection - DNA provides a real quick yes/no answer (your genealgical gut feeling is your best bet); 2) next - Wilsons in the same geographical area in the same time frame. 3) Start investigating the scenario that your unique DNA may be due to a NPE event. This is very rough research that is pretty difficult to prove. 4) wait for random submissions and have a lot of patience.
For possible NPE connections see my Casey DNA web site (step 3 - connecting NPEs):

Since you currently do not have any real close matches, you may have to wait for a random closer matches to randomly show up for possible NPE connections. When they do show up - look for common tradional connections.
Before you place any order for speculative connections for other Wilson lines, be sure to check to make sure that they have not already been tested. Keep a log of these lines already connected to other lines as negative hits for you. Once you get a rare cluster going, you will be very glad that you have unique DNA. Right now hanging out there by yourself can be frustrating. I have two Casey lines tested for E and J haplogroups - not exactly the most Irish haplogroups.
