Unsorted alleles means it is the same as the regular test. Both a and b would be 15. However, without running the Kittler test, there is no way to know if they are one or two alleles, since there is only one peak on the elecropherogram.
FTDNA is no longer using the small letters and is using the NIST notation. The letters misled people into thinking that multi-copy alleles could be distinguished. They were simply arranged in ascending order and labelled with letters.
What firms did they use?
