DNA of Nobility
No to sure really how it all works
i recentlyreceived some info that when you go back through the pedigree of my ancestors you finally get to Charlemagne Carolingien of The HOLY ROMAN EMPIRE through King Charles V of France. Captes, De Orleans, De BURGUNDY,LUXEMBOURG etc etc
Now i know this sounds strange but i was wondering if it is all possible to track DNA to Nobility - its on my mothers side of the family tree - however it is passed to her from her dad and from his grandmother etc etc there is no male line.
I remember through mitochondrial DNA analysis in July 1993, British scientists, through a sample of Prince Philip's blood, were able to identify the remains of several members of Empress Alexandra of Russia's family, several decades after their 1918 massacre by the Bolsheviks .
would there be any markers of todays dna that i could compare mine to - im not looking for anything other then to find outi have the same dna markers...
