I do not know how Robert is getting his odds of mutations.
I would state it in different way.
At 28/30, 6% of the two males would be related at less than 6 generations.
At 65/67, 40 % of the two males would be related in less than 6 generations.
Each of the result is consistent with your paper trial.
The more markers tested and the more related people tested the more confidence.
This is no different than what others have said.
Comparing just two samples is not good use of this data but what we are using.
