Thank you. I read part of the discussion at Rootsweb, and I think we must be I1a Anglo-Saxon, despite the reading of 14 at 383a and 16 at 385B.

Perhaps the details of deep ancestry don't matter much anyhow, because my real aim is to trace the family back to England.

We are awaiting results of a DNA test for a distant cousin whose line diverged from ours c. 1700--at least, we think so, based on what is left of Henrico Co. court books.
