Thomas Dixon b. 1790 NC (Craven or Jones Co?)

I am looking for the parents of Thomas Dixon. Because his wife, Salatha Kinsey, was from Jones Co, NC I suspect that he was from either Jones or Craven Co. The Kinseys (widow and daughters) migrated to Warren Co, GA shortly after 1800. Based on location in the 1790 Census (same page as Salatha's father) the first suspect is a Joel Dixon in Jones Co. NC.

Thomas and Salatha were married in Hancock Co, GA 7 Feb 1811 (he was not a member of the main Dixon family there). They moved to Talbot Co, GA in the 1830s and Thomas died before 1840.

I corresponded with Suzy Bennett a little but either the timing was bad or the internet ate a few messages.
