David... the approximate GPS coordinates of the center of the 80A tract in question is 33.971339, -86.066036. If you put theses coordinates into the search line of Google maps you will get a map of its location. (It is now in an urban area. Rainbow City). Here is how I obtained the coordinates.
I found the tract by the legal description on the General Highway Maps for Etowah County, AL. You can down load a copy of the maps from:
http://www.n2genealogy.com/alabama/al-maps.html
Then I went to Goolge Maps website and located the tract by using the land marks I establihed from the Highway map. Scale the Google map to locate the approxiate center of the property. Right check the location and select where's this from the menue and a green arrow will appear with the cooordinates.
