I am desperately trying to locate any info on my great-grandfather Andrew J. Dixon, born 1868-1872 in Missouri or Illinois. According to 1900, 1910, 1920, and 1930 census he is listed as being born in Missouri. His death certificate says Illinois. Some of his children were born in Illinois, some in Missouri. He died November 8, 1935 in Charleston, Mississippi County, Missouri. I need info on his parents and possible siblings. Have not found him in 1870 or 1880. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. He and Laura had at least 5 girls, Della, Ada, Lela, Edith, Louisea, and Ruth. Della married David Albert Dispennett, Ada married Mr. Choate, Lela married William Jennings Bryan Byrd, Edith married Mr. Bagwell and Mr. Weatherwax, Ruth married Roma Turner. Another daughter Louisea died shortly after birth.
