Both Earl Hines of Mableton, GA and Dr. Curtis Lane of Statesboro, GA have extensive files on this family. It is most definitely the same family.I did not know any of grandmother's sisters except Aunt Ida who lived in Savannah and Aunt Emma who also lived in Savannah.Aunt Ida married a Carswell and taught Sunday School at Calvary Baptist Temple for 50 years.Aunt Emma died when I was about five years old.She had diabetes and had a leg amputated. When she died, I wanted to know who cleaned up her bed because in my childish mind I thought she had bled to death. My uncle George, one of Robert E. and Etta Dixon Lee's sons, told me they often spent time during the summers with Dr. Hollingsworth's family in Screven County.Do you want to correspond with my E-mail address?rather than post messages?
