Olive b ~1872 in English Canada, img USA 1888
Hi fellow Dixon seekers,
I know this is a wild shot in the dark but after 20 years of research and no replies via interent in 4 years, at least it's a try!
I latched onto a postinbg because of the Olive Dixon and it was in Ont, new thought for me.My ggdm was Olive (usually looks like A or W) Dixon. From death record, Census, etc, I believe she was b in Mar of 1872 in English Canada. I've alwaysfigured that was NB or possibly NS. Asked on boards but no one seemed to know. Although Census then/there showedmany others with same (Eng. Can.). Now I realize it could be Ont.She img. 1888 (no idea if she was alone), married James J. Dale in 1893 in Boston, only child b 1896, Boston, and she d in May 1921 (4 yr > her husband) in Boston.
Ironically, her only child had only 2 children (my dad & his sister who died years before their mother) and disappearedwithout a trace after the crash of 1929.
Anyhow, with the way family names often repeated then and my desparation...THANK YOU and best of luck to each.
Hoping for a minor gene. miracle, Honor
