So, May I ask who your father was. I am assuming Robert Ditton, whose info is private - grand father is Vernon Wesley? By the way, I found a picture of Andrew Y M Ditton. I couldn't believe it when I saw it. I was pretty excited. If you are interested in exchanging e-mail addresses, let me know and then I can send you the pic.

I wish I had your talent for digging this info up. I have been trying to work on my mother's side of the family now and hitting a lot of walls. Possibly because her grandfather took back his mother's maiden name.

I will write again as I find new info on the Dittons. Thanks again.
