Jeanie,The only info. I have on Creighton Thompson, at the moment is this: Born, 1833, married Elisabeth Little on Dec. 9, 1865. Elisabeth's sister Frances Little, dob 1854, married William Dittmer on Nov. 29, 1892. I was reading the posts for Dittmer only because I am trying to get something to go on for Elisabeth. I found her sister's married name to be Dittmer, so gave it a shot. I found your post and noticed the "C. Thompson" in connection to the Dittmer name, also the fact this was all from Scott County Iowa. I have been doing some research in Scott co, and found out that at that time it was a relatively small area with sparse population. That was info. from the Librarian in Davenport. Like I said, this was just a shot in the dark, but thought I would give you a try. Do you have a name for the "C" in Thompson ??? I am going to the Mormon Library today in hopes of finding his parents...having a terrible time with him !! So sorry if I have wasted you time, but felt it was worth a try !!?? By the way, Frances Little was married to William Dittmer.
