I have found out a bit more Dittmar lineage since my last posting. Does anyone have more information on any of the following Dittmars? My Dittmar information comes from papers left by my grandmother, Anna Elsa Auwater. Her grandmother was Martha Elizabeth Dittmar, b 29 Nov 1835 Cassel, Germany. Her parents were Conrad Dittmar b. 20 Nov 1811 and Catherina Elisabeth Riedemann b. 16 Aug 1817. They had six children: Gertrude, August, John, Conrad, Martin, and my GGgrandmother, Martha Elizabeth Dittmar mentioned above. Conrad Dittmar's parents were Johannes Dittmar b. 26 July 1785 and Anna Elizabeth Hellmuth b. 8 Nov 1789. Johannes Dittmar's parents were Conrad Dittmar b 22 Nov 1762 and Anna Maria Rode b 2 Apr 1765. Conrad's parent's were Hans Martin Dittmar b 9 March 1731 and Anna Gertrude Hoffman b 7 Feb 1733. Any connections?
