I am researching the Dittman family from Prussia. However, I have them coming to American around 1820-30's or before. I don't know there the family settled upon arrival. The genealogical book suggest that the Germans of this period entered in New Orleans. Do you have information that they entered in Phila.? A Charles H. was born in Prussia and came here with his parents. I don't have their names. I know the family lived in Ohio in the 1840-1850. Charles later moved to Kentucky.
