Would you have any information about another brother named William Fred Dittman, born in 1882? The 1885 Minnesota State Census has a William, born 1882, along with his parents, Charlie and Amelia, as well as brother's August and Charlie Jr, Julius, and sister's Augusta and a Eva Dittman, age 74 (Charlie Srs. mother?). I am wondering if this is the same William that married an Ada Hokanson(possibly Johnson). They had several children that became wards of the State between 1920-1930, after they were unable to take care of them. I thought I remembered seeing Julius or August in the 1900 or 1910 census, living in montanna, as a "boarder", if this is any help.
