Disney-Rogers marriage in 1839

The indexes show a 1839 marriage between a Stephen Rogers and a Sarah Disney in Anne Arundel Co, MD. I believe the same Stephen Rogers married again in 1848 to an Eleanor Jenkins of Anne Arundel County.

The 1850 census showed Stephen Rogers and Eleanor/Ellen living on a property adjacent to the Disney's. In the Rogers household there are children which could be the product of the Rogers-Disney marriage.

Can anyone clarify?
