Lavinia Wheelus excerpts from a will

Ernie, thank you for the reply to my query about Lavinia's connection to the Dismukes family.By the time of the LW&T you mentioned, 1827, my Lavinia was living in Twiggs County, GA with her husband Thomas Chappell and their several children.I am assuming that the slave named Lavinia mentioned in the will was a young girl and of African descent. My Lavinia was probably middle-aged and of English descent.Maybe the girl was named after the woman. My Lavinia was made an executrix of her husband's estate in 1797. Her husband was Sion Wheelus.I doubt these circumstances would have applied to a slave. But, thanks a lot.Joyce
