Hello, Karl,

I saw your posting Re: John Henry Dishong; born @Aascom, Pa. 1870. I was born and raised in Pa., and am the granddaughter of James Donald Ashcom and his wife, Nana Pearl(Cogley) Ashcom. James Donald was one of the children of Benjamin Franklin Ashcom and his wife Margaret Mary(Van Horn) Ashcom. Do you have any info on these families?

My grandfather, James Donald Ashcom was born 19 Apr. 1890 in Conemaugh, Cambria Co., Pa., but I don't remember of hearing of a place called Ashcom, Pa. What county is that town in?
