My great- grandmother was Nancy Jane Dishman, married to Calvin Dishman. My grandmother Mata was born in 1894 so that would possibly place her parents in the 1870's, maybe 60's. I show Nancy's parents as George and Lucinda Dishman and Calvin's parents as Burril and Betty (Elizabeth?)Upchurch Dishman and Burril's parents as Joseph and Rhoda Dishman. I believe George's father was also named Burril Dishman and his mother was Nancy Upchurch. I find them all in Wayne Co. KY, with land grants along Otter Creek. Does anyone have any thing that validates or corrects what I believe? Any help would be greatly appreciated. The Dishmans and Upchurchs seem to somewhat entertwined and I am confused!!
