Thanks for the reply! I have Mary Dishman (Emma's sister)married to Columbus Dishman. I have no record of children from this marriage. I don't have the connection between Columbus and Eugene. Emma married John Powers after Eugene died, they raised Ruffin, George & Isabel Dishman as well as two of their own children. John Powers's father was Tom Powers from N.C. I have nothing else on John except the above connection to Tom. This has been my stumbling block for many years. I am a direct descendant of Tom/John Powers, them being my paternal Grandfathers.
