The John Dishman and Elizabeth Talbert lived near Abington, Va. and He was the son of William Triplett Dishman Jr. who came to Washington County, va. from Westmoreland County, VA in about 1815. They are descended from Samuel Dishman(d-1726) who settled in
Westmoreland County prior to 1693.
