Looking for Dirksen(Dirkhen?) ...... Roolf Harms Dirksen and Christina Johanna Schoon had 6 known children: Christian, Henry, Harm, Grace, Christine, & Roolf Roolfs.
Roolf Roolfs Dirksen born August 13, 1855 in Moordorf, Germany. He married Antje Amelings Sartorious born January 30, 1856 in Moordorf, on May 6, 1882. They had 11 children: Frank Roolfs, Amil Roolfs, Ralph Roolfs, William Roolfs, Harm Roolfs, Fraukea, Gesine, Fraukea Gesine, Annie, & Henry Roolfs.
This Dirksen family came over to America in 1892.
Frank Roolfs Dirksen, born May 12, 1883, is my g-grandfather. He married Lillian Florence Halpin, born Sept 8, 1884, on March 4, 1907 in S. Dakota.
They had 5 children: Ralph Orville, Lloyd John. Rose Fern, Daniel Lyle,& Florence Lucille.
In America, the Dirksens were located in Illinois, and S.Dakota.
I have a family tree book with lots of info, but would like to go back farther, etc. A new book is in the printing right now!
