I was so excited to see your query about Martin Dirksen and wife Katherine Reimer from the Inman, KS. area! I am directly related to the same Martin & Katherina Dirksen/Doerksen! Martin born 1836 in Sparrau, Molotchna Colony, South Russia, and died August 4, 1915 in Inman, KS.
Would love to email you and find out who you descend from and through! I've been researching the Dirksen's for 4 years now and have lots of info. to share. Just printed a Dirksen family history book about Martin & Katherina Dirksen's son, Peter P. Dirksen and his wives, 1-Sarah Wieler & 2-Elizabeth Loewen.
