My family came from Germany. My Great-Grandfather was Bernard Dirksen who settled near Bellvue, Iowa around 1860. My Grandfather was B.H. Dirksen, known to our family as Barney Henry Dirksen who lived in Woden, Iowa and later in Mason City, Iowa.
My father was Walter William Dirksen,who died in Mason City, Iowa. I am Larry Dirksen who currently resides in Rapid City, SD. Would like more information if these names and places show up in your research.
