DUERKSEN/DIRKSEN/DOERKSEN/DERKSEN/

Where in Russia did your ancestors emigrate from. My mother's parents (also Mennonite) are believed to have come from Neuendorf, and the masculine name Saloman is quite common. Anyone have information to share? I have seen variations of this surname with CK instead of K, and also the U and O with an umlaut.

Thanks
