Dirkson's in Canada?

Apparently my family name was changed to the "o" when my family came here to Canada. I am currently living in Timmins Ontario. I have a father named Dale Dirkson. My brother is David Dirkson. My grandfather was named Ernest Dirkson. All the information that I could get points my family to Saskatchewan, Canada. If anyone has any idea of any leads, I would be very interested.
