Hi,

my name is Hinrich Dirksen. I`m living in Hinte wich is a small village near the town of Emden / Ostfriesland. It`s interesting to read all of the "american Dirksens" postings!
On my homepage called Forum 14-18, I have a site, wich is about my great- grandfather Harm Klaassen Dirksen. He was born in Hamswehrum / Ostfriesland and died in ww1 in France. It`s one of the stories, I translated in english and it might be of interest for you. The URL is:
